weekly appointment 1/15/07

We had an appointment this morning, but nothing has changed since last week. Everything still looked mostly the same. We have an MRI tomorrow to get more details about her brain. We still spent two hours at the hospital between two separate ultrasounds, monitoring me, going over more information and answering my questions. We met a different perinatologist today and she didn't seem nearly so pessimistic. Not really optomistic either, but she at least discussed the chance that she'll be born alive, no matter how slim that may be. Along those lines, I got my first of two steroid shots to promote lung development. Those suckers hurt!

I am feeling better today. I think it helped to write so much down last night. Plus, there wasn't nearly so much crying in the ultrasound room.
